Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is the governing body of Fundación Casa Mi Rey and is responsible for fiduciary oversight, strategic guidance, and compliance with nonprofit regulations.
Key responsibilities include:

Executive Leadership
Fundación Casa Mi Rey is led by a Founder & Executive Director, a paid staff position responsible for day-to-day operations, program development, fundraising, partnerships, and institutional leadership.
The Executive Director works in collaboration with the Board of Directors and provides regular reports on organizational performance, finances, and program impact. Compensation for this role is reviewed and approved by the Board in accordance with nonprofit best practices and conflict of interest policies. The Executive Director does not participate in Board decisions related to compensation or financial oversight.
Advisory Board
The Advisory Board provides non-fiduciary guidance and expertise to support the Foundation’s programs, partnerships, and strategic vision. Advisory members are selected based on professional experience, sector knowledge, and alignment with the Foundation’s mission and values.
Advisory Board members contribute through strategic insight, program feedback, and advocacy within their professional networks.
