Interdisciplinary artist · Founder and director of Biolumina
Biolumina brings residencies and encounters into dialogue with the context of Vieques. Its leadership connects studio work with community participation and the circulation of artistic practices.
The Foundation develops its own programs and collaborates with island spaces. Biolumina supports research and artistic processes; Vieques en Plein Air offers a monthly open invitation to paint and draw together.
The encounters in our archive have taken place with educational and cultural spaces in Vieques, including Rising Roost, Escuela Elemental Manuela Santiago Collazo, Cundeamor, and Oro at Playa Negra. Galería Isabel II has served as the meeting point for Vieques en Plein Air.
